Recently, H & M apologized for alleged racial discrimination for green sweater ads, and Amazon is now plunged into a an abyss of suffering because it seems that a children's clothing line seems to be supporting slavery.
The e-commerce giant has removed the products with the slogan "slavery gets shit done." Amazon said these products are sold by third-party sellers. Amazon spokesman said: "All sellers of the platform should follow our sales guidance, or we will take some measures, including the freezing of the seller's account. Currently, the platform has removed these products."
The products with the slogan including T-shirts, Mugs, baby bibs, handbags and sweaters. Amazon's policy prohibits sellers from selling "products that provoke hatred, violence, racial discrimination, sexual discrimination, or religious discrimination."
Consumers comment on social media, twitter users @Queen___Grace says, "How lovely is this? A white kid with a bib wearing a 'Slavery Gets Shit Done' stupid slogan … Emmm … Are Amazon Approved for Sale on the Platform? Or Not?
Another tweener, McQuade906, said the pyramid logo and the slogan "Slavery Gets Shit Done" not only showed the manufacturer's numbness in slavery, but also demonstrated its lack of cultural knowledge because the builder of the pyramid was not a slave.
Tweetie @ elleyochanan said: "Amazon think that sold this package on the platform is cute? I think cancel the Amazon subscription, and registered webuyblack.com is very cute."
Although the product with this slogan existed longer in the United States than the British station, the product has now been removed, and the search in the Amazon has not found the slogan related to the product.
Slavery is not just a matter of history. According to the United Nations International Labor Organization, nearly 40 million people worldwide still lived as slaves last year.
