FBA Fees in Amazon America Will be Adjusted in 2018
The same as the previous years, FBA fees in Amazon America will be adjusted in order to reflect the cost changes in implementation, shipping and customer service. The new FBA fee system will take effect February 22, 2018. The seller should be aware of this information and make adjustments based on these changes. In 2018, the following changes in FBA will occur:
• FBA Fulfillment Fee: Amazon will adjust the fufillment fee for most sizes and weights of products. The adjusted fees will apply throughout the year, and Amazon will not put out separate FBA fee rates between October 2018 and December 2018.
• dimensional weight calculation: Amazon is adjusting the formula mode of dimensional weight to meet current industry standards. Currently, the dimensional weight is calculated as unit volume (based on length × width × height (inches) divided by 166. Starting February 22, 2018, Amazon will calculate the unit volume divided by 139 (instead of 166). The dimensional weight applies only to large standard-size items with weighing more than 1 pound as well as all small, medium and large oversized items. Amazon will announce changes in FBA inventory storage costs in early 2018.
FBA Fulfillment Fee is shown below, the adjusted FBA Execution Fee will take effect on February 22, 2018. The adjusted fees will apply throughout the year, and Amazon will not put out separate FBA fee rates between October 2018 and December 2018.
Will FBA'Fulfillment Fee change for products which is ordered before February 22, 2018?
When the goods leave the Amazon logistics center, FBA Fulfillment Fee will start to be calculated and charged. Therefore, if a product order is placed by February 22, 2018 but will not be shipped until February 22, 2018, then this order will apply to the new FBA Fulfillment Fee System.

Will this cost change affect Multi-Channel Fulfillment or Inventory Placement Service?

It will not. FBA "Lightweight" service rates will not change this time.
