FBA is provided by Amazon warehousing, its service including picking, packing, delivery, payment, customer service and return processing. On the Amazon platform, about 39% of orders are delivered via FBA. As a seller,in order to set the price and to ensure profit, we must be clear about FBA details. So what are the total costs of Amazon FBA?
First, the cost of FBA probably includes several aspects: storage costs, order processing fees, sorting and packaging costs, weighing processing fees and some other not commonly used paid services.
Order handling fee (standard items): US station $ 1.00 / pcs, the UK station 0.82 pounds / pcs, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, four countries 1.38 euros.
Sorting packing costs and weighing processing fee are charged by the size of the goods.
Other costs are mainly the cost of personalized services, such as labeling, transshipment, destruction, special packaging and so on.
Second, the Amazon warehouse storage costs, include monthly warehouse storage costs, long-term warehouse storage costs.
monthly storage costs: Amazon will charge the fee in the second month between the 7-15th, the cost charged in accordance with the volume of goods:
January-September, the standard Size $ 0.64 per cubic foot; Oversize size $ 0.43 per cubic foot.
October-December, Standard size $ 2.35 per cubic foot; Oversize size $ 1.15 per cubic foot .
Monthly warehousing fee: (the Number of Products which should be charged for 6 months long-term storage fee ) x (Volume per Unit) x (Cumulative Monthly Storage Fee) During the peak season from October to December, the storage fee will be 1-2 times higher than usual.
Long-term storage fee: This fee is payable if the seller's goods are not sold and stored in the Amazon warehouse for more than 6 months.
In general, Amazon will charge the fee on February 15 and August 15 of each year for products stored for 6-12 months at $ 11.25 per cubic foot; for the products storing longer than 12 months, Charge $ 22.50 per cubic foot for long-term storage charges.
Long-term storage fee: (quantity of goods that should be charged for a long-term storage fee ) x (volume per unit of product) x (per cubic fee for long-term storage charges over a period of time) .
It is noteworthy that starting from August 15, 2017, Long-term storage costs in EU are as follows: Products for 6-12 months: EUR 500 per cubic meter; More than 12 months Long-term storage: EUR 1,000 per cubic meter.
