Does Amazon change the process of freezing accounts? submit Pre POA before account block。
According to the latest news, Amazon account freeze agreement has been changed. Now, Amazon will ask the seller to submit a POA( plan of action) before freezing the seller’s account, rather than providing POA after the account is freezed. What is the impact of this policy change on the seller’s business?
In the past, the seller account was closed before it receive an official notice from Amazon. The seller then submits the POA for review by Amazon, during which time the seller can not access the account funds or the affected listing. Amazon now sends a notification email asking seller to submit a Pre POA before freezing the seller’s account. Sellers can make use of POA to strive for its account, to avoid account block.
In the notification e-mail from Amazon in advance, Amazon will explain in detail where the deficiencies are, contains content that previously warned but not solved yet, the list of issues not yet resolved. There is no deadline for submitting Pre POA in the notification email. Mail also hinted that, until the review, the seller’s sales authority will not be affected.
So a major difference from the previous process is that before the Pre POA audit results, the seller can continue to sell products on the platform, manage listings and account funds. Amazon has set up a special Pre POA mailbox, so sellers should not overlook it when they receive mail from “email@example.com”. Sellers can also filter for such messages using the specific entry word: “You’re at risk of being suspended” and “Please submit a plan of action to avoid suspension.”
